Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, Java, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL, with a strong focus on automation and infrastructure management.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and alerts to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee the overall management of microservices and ensure their smooth operation.
  • Proactively monitor AWS components and other key toolchains.
  • Implement and adhere to ITIL processes.
  • Work in shifts and be available for 24×7 on-call support for critical and high-priority tickets.
  • Knowledgeable about release automation tools such as Jenkins, with experience in administration, application configuration, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with patch management and certificate management.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain server monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Implement DevOps CI/CD pipelines on the AWS cloud platform using Jenkins.
  • Set up Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Utilize Amazon EC2, EKS, Kubernetes, and Java, with good knowledge of PostgreSQL.

Key Technologies:

  • Primary Services: Kubernetes cluster (scaling, restore, ingress/egress) and functionality (monitoring, logging connection, certificates), connectivity (cluster-2- cluster, cluster-2-on_premise, cluster-2-central_components).
  • Main Technologies: AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Java.
  • Maturity Level: Operational experience with a large user base (>1200) and numerous Kubernetes clusters (>200).

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and tools.
  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Java and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with release automation, patch management, and certificate management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle on-call support.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
