Overview:

This candidate will be part of the Product Solutions as part of highly collaborative efforts with the Product and Clinical teams. This candidate will be responsible for development of UI and necessary code infrastructure using C#, JavaScript, and SQL for several web-based Enterprise Applications.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the UI for new application features;
  • Design and implement code infrastructure for component reuse;
  • Operate with a DevOps mindset to get the UI business features built and deployed through the various QA environments and production;
  • Conduct testing of completed applications, websites and software to Assess user experience;
  • Seek to enhance the user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the company;
  • Develop overall concepts for improving the user experience within a business webpage or product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and convenient for customers;
  • Collaborate with back-end web developers and programmers to improve usability;
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience building interactive and responsive web applications using web standard technologies;
  • Proficiency in the C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and stored procedure development.
  • Strong Javascript skills with experience in a modern frontend framework (Vue, React, Angular, etc.) a plus.
  • Experience using GIT or another version control equivalent;
  • A working knowledge of modular front-end architecture;
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment demonstrating outstanding attention to detail and software quality with a passion for top-performing user experience and front-end architecture;
  • Detailed experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot and analyze websites using HTML, CSS and comparable languages;
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize managing multiple milestones and projects efficiently;
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome;
  • Experience creating code to client’s personalized needs and requirements;
  • Previous experience working with healthcare data a plus.


Education:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science or similar technical discipline; and
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5%, typically usually for training purposes.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

$64,826$110,000 USD
