Principal Design Engineer

Limitless

About Limitless 👋
At Limitless, our vision is to free the human mind from its biological limits. Limitless is a web app, Mac app, Windows app, and a wearable that records what you’ve seen, said, or heard and makes it useful. For example, if you’re in back-to-back meetings you don’t have time to take notes, track action items, and draft follow ups – Limitless automatically does all of this for you.
The product we have today is just the first step toward our audacious vision. We have raised over $33m from top-tier investors including Sam Altman, First Round Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and NEA to help make that vision a reality.
Why Limitless 👀
Working at Limitless will be the most impactful job of your life.

Our team is small and everyone plays a huge role. The work you’ll do will have tremendous impact on not just our company, but how the world works. We believe the best version of the future is one in which we augment – not replace – human intelligence with artificial intelligence. This is the key to unlocking humanity’s full potential, and you will play a critical role in helping us get there.

Come join us.
Examples of projects you’ll work on
  • With our upcoming hardware device, the pendant, capturing more of your day, we’ll need to better organize, visualize, identify insights, and craft proactive experiences, all while considering privacy.
  • Work closely with our head of marketing to evolve our marketing website to better highlight use cases, design and build new web experiences from scratch, and iterate on our brand aesthetic.
  • Continually identify opportunities to refine the product design of our web and desktop app from onboarding and calendar integration to AI search flows.
  • Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer and/or product designer, with recent experience working on products using LLMs a plus.

  • Significant experience with all the ins and outs of shipping performant mobile responsive web products.
  • Nice to have: Experience with advanced frontend frameworks and technologies like ThreeJS/R3F, WebGL and shaders.
  • What you’ll do
  • A bit of everything. You’ll be the second person on the design team at Limitless, reporting to our cofounder, and will have your hand in product design, brand, and front-end development.
  • Work closely with our cofounder to design and implement elegant end-to-end solutions by understanding customer needs along with technical opportunities and constraints with AI.

This role uses “Principal” to indicate we want people with substantial amounts of experience.
If you’re interested in this job, we strongly encourage you to apply: we’d love to see you on our team working toward our audacious vision of freeing the mind from its biological limitations.
