What We’re Looking For

Our client, a New York-based company specializing in e-commerce and brand building, is seeking a Shopify Developer to create, customize, and optimize Shopify stores for high-impact, early-stage projects. This role is essential for delivering seamless, high-performing online experiences that drive growth. The ideal candidate is resourceful, proactive, and highly skilled in Shopify development, with a strong understanding of performance optimization, integrations, and custom coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify stores to align with project requirements.
• Build and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby.
• Optimize site speed and performance for an exceptional user experience.
• Implement responsive design for seamless functionality across all devices.
• Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
• Leverage advanced technologies like React, Node.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, and Laravel.
• Develop custom Shopify apps and features to enhance store functionality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Shopify and Shopify Plus development.

• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby, React, Node.js, SQL, GraphQL.
• Experience with Shopify’s API and custom app development.
• Familiarity with Laravel, MongoDB, and SEO best practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and remotely, with a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have

• Shopify certifications or other relevant credentials.
