Role Summary
This role offers the opportunity to work in an exciting, open and collaborative environment as part of the IT Applications team.  The team works closely with business stakeholders on design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT systems and business solutions supporting Sophos’ Sales, Marketing, Billing, Order management and Engineering organization.  Our team uses Agile development methods to manage projects and is focused on delivering straightforward, high quality, intuitive systems and processes that are built with both the present and future in mind. 
What You Will Do
  • Technical SME for the system area owned by the team
  • Design solutions and produce supporting documentation for one or more Epics
  • Own codebase driving continuous improvement to quality and adherence to standards
  • Drive team’s technical capability improvement
  • Actively represent the team in technical analysis and design reviews
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support whenever required
  • Effectively communicate in a variety of forums across organization
  • Conduct presentations to cross-functional groups on solutions delivered
  • Independently lead the complete delivery for an epic
  • Represent your technical area and IT on cross-functional enhancements and projects, including the coordination and resolution of appropriate issues.
  • Lead build design sessions collaborating with BA and Business Stakeholders
  • Understanding of connecting systems and able to perform impact and risk analysis

  • Scans the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that can benefit business or personal performance
  • Achieved successful completion of Salesforce developer certificates
  • Degree in Information Technology, business-related subject, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in a development role
  • In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $119,000 to $198,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.  A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
